Since someone wanted to know desperately how I changed Facebook’s colors and added the hidden items to it, I decided to create a how to
First you need Firefox, if you don’t have it I think you have been living under a rock but here is the link http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
Second, you need to get an addon for Firefox called Greasemonkey
- This allows you to edit scripts for certain websites
- Greasemonkey’s community has tons of scripts availible at http://userscripts.org
- But for this you only need 2
The first is Facebook App Hider
- This lets you pick which apps you want to see and what you don’t
- All you have to do is click install this script on the right side and it’s installed!
Next is Facebook Custom Color
- This is slightly more complicated, but just slightly
- Again click install this script on the right side
- Then go to facebook.com and go up to Tools on your menubar at the top of the Firefox browser, go down to Greasemonkey ->, then to User Script Commands -> and it should give you the option to pick 2 colors for facebook.
- For this step, you MUST be on the facebook homepage.
And that’s it!
